Fun at Grandmas

Over Labor Day the kids went to Grandma Kathleen's house while Mommy got to have a fun weekend watching Daddy play softball in Albuquerque, NM. Mommy and Daddy had a great time but I think the kids had more fun wearing Grandma and Uncle Jason out each and every day.
One of the days the kids were there they went to a splash pad that was attached to as my kids say the funnest park. Evan loved showing Grandma his new mastery skill of the monkey bars.
He has really taken a strong interest in crawling up stuff recently. Sometimes it makes me nervous, but I think he is like every other little boy in America at this stage.
I think this photo is so fun. Wyatt isn't quite strong enough, nor does he have long enough arms, to do monkey bars but he likes to hang and swing
Evan's great climbing skills
I think the they thought the park was more fun than the splash pad but when I asked them about it they said they loved the geysers.
Lola hangin out with Uncle J
More climbing!
Wyatt looking handsome as ever.
They took another day and went to the zoo. As always the train is a must. Their favorite part was the tunnel.
Lola all Zoo'd out
With help she liked the carousel. As you can see from the next picture she was a little nervous at first.
Uncle Jason!!!
Evan and Wyatt LOVED the carousel.
They liked the animals a lot more this year, every year they seem to get braver at the zoo which is a relief because the first few years all Evan did was cry.
Taming the Lions
Walking up to see the wolfs and cheetah
I'm not sure what animal they are looking at; however when I asked them about it they said the penguins were super funny.
This year Evan and Wyatt liked the Elephants. They even had a good time playing on the big, fake, Elephant sculpture as you approach the Elephant viewing area. They liked that it spit out water.
Getting ready for a great day!
Grandma we love you, Thanks for playing with us at your house
Watching scary episodes of Sponge Bob Square Pants.
Looking beautiful as always. Mom couldn't find Lola's socks so she ended up wearing Wyatt's
Ahhhh!
Waiting patiently to be pushed......
More waiting, less patience........
PUSH ME NOW!
The kids were so excited for Grandma's swimming pool before they left. Once they got there though the kids didn't talk much about it. I wonder if the water was cold, They are big bath babies and love the water warm to hot.
The kids had such a great time! We are so grateful to have family who is willing to be such a great part of our kids' life. The kids love their Grandma Kathleen and Uncle Jason so much. It is all they've talked about since being home. Being 33 weeks pregnant, it was a great break for me too.
