Buckets

The other day I came upstairs and it was quiet; which in my house means the kids are doing something they shouldn't be. I peeked in on them and this is what I found. All three sitting in something, just talking about life and hanging out! These kids crack me up; and I'm glad they like to play together.

Tubby Time

Ivy really took a long time to feel "safe and cozy" in the tub.  She was about a month old before she acted like she even enjoyed it.

As with most babies now she loves it! Good thing because Mom likes to take tub photos!

The Keith Family Christmas Tree

 Ivy was a little young this year to come with us on our outing to the mountains so Grandma was gracious enough to keep her.

 "The Men" pulling out our tree. It was Russell's turn to pick this year he did a really good job of picking out a good looking tree. However before Christmas was over the tree ended up being propped up in the corner because it kept falling over. :)

 Evan's favorite part of the day. He loved being big enough to carry the axe.

 Mommy carried Lola the whole time. She still isn't walking yet, it turned out to be okay though because we kept each other warm.

 Wyatt was so ready to go home so he mostly just sat in the truck and pouted. Evan got to do all the fun jobs.

We are Thankful!

For family home the first week in November we talked to the kids about being thankful. Every night before bed we would write down things we were thankful for and stick it on our turkey. I was really impressed with the kids' answers this year. Some of them were funny and silly; but this year they also said they were thankful for each other,  the gospel, the scriptures, and things that really matter. I am grateful for a loving family, who teach me so much. I am thankful for a loving husband who is always there for me, and loves me despite my flaws. I am thankful for our life, jobs, and the time we get to be together here on this Earth. I'm grateful for our struggles and the growth we receive from them. I am grateful for the knowledge and guiding light the gospel is in my life.

Lola's First Haircut

Lola has been rocking the mullet for quite some time now. I finally decided that if it was going to grow right I needed to trim off the mullet and "start fresh" Here is the finished product. The back. Notice her head is tipped to the side, so her cut looks crooked but its not.

After it dried it gave her a cute little bob. I was pretty pleased with the outcome. Now hopefully it will all grow at the same length and become long and pretty as a whole and just not in the back!

Brotherly Love

Evan loves his little sister sooooo much! I love catching these fun little moments when they don't think I'm watching. I am grateful for a loving family who at the end of the day really does love each other with all their hearts.

New Toy of the Week

Lola is finally tall enough to reach her favorite toy. For the past couple months she has been pulling herself up but can't reach the chalk to draw and has pouted about not being able to reach.On tip toes, she can finally reach to draw and loves her new found heighth. Luckily chalk is pretty easy to wash off the wall too because sometimes she forgets to put the chalk back in the holder and we end up with a pretty mess!

Halloween

We had a great time this year for Halloween. It was a little more low key than normal because Ivy had just arrived and Mom was still a little under the weather. The kids, as always, had a great time and looked super cute in their costumes. Evan was Superman!Wyatt was a robot; he loved his costume so much he still wears it almost on a daily basis.

Miss Frankenstein!

The cutest pumpkin I've ever seen.

This was a big year for me. Ever since Russ and I started having kids, I've always wanted a cute little pumpkin costume for one of our children. Russ said pumpkins were not okay for boys so this year for Lola I bought her pumpkin costume clear back in August. She was so cute, it was totally worth the wait!

Wyatt liked carving pumpkins for a little bit but couldn't work the knife on his own. So he got bored really quickly.

Evan did his whole pumpkin by himself this year. Carving, gutting, and decorating!

He did such a good job and it was fun to watch his concentration.

Miss Ivy Paige

Babies change so fast in those first few weeks. I can't help but be amazed at how fast they always grow.Sleeping with Mom.

Because of the C-Section I had a harder time carrying her up and down the stairs so most of the time during the day she slept in her swing. Luckily she loves it!
