Making Cookies

On Valentines Day we made cookies to take to Grandparents and Cousins, thanks to pre-made dough; it was something that Evan and I could do with minimal ease. Wyatt watched and had fun smiling for the camera. :)
Evan loved the flour, he liked it more than actually cutting out the cookies. When we would cut the cookies out and put them on the cookie sheet he would already be in the flour getting more ready for us to roll the dough out again.

Cheese!

Bread Making

So a couple weeks ago I posted about making Fry Bread, well a couple nights ago I tried again. (they say practice makes perfect!) Evan LOVES to help and he decided to be more actively involved this time. Here he is with his little ball of bread. He does the cutest thing with his "ball". He tries to flatten it out with his hands and then asks if he can "flap it." By this he means moving the bread back and forth between his hands to make it bigger. He really gave it a go ahead, it was so cute. Here he is trying to "flap it!"
After much trying he finally decided to roll it out like mom does. I can't flap it either, so I have to use a rolling pin. His bread turned out great and he always likes to eat the bread that he makes. I'm glad that he's proud of self. I'm proud of him too!

The Scoot

Isn't this fun... It is too cute just not to document. This has been Wyatt's favorite mode of transportation for the past couple months. He did crawl on Saturday, February 7th; I'm so excited to get some footage to post but I can't get him to do it for the camera. I'll keep trying. I truly feel blessed, to watch my children go up. I couldn't ask for anything more.

Fighting or Loving

I've been working on a project for Valentines day and I'm trying to get the boys to give each other a love. I have tried on numerous attempts and this happens every time. Evan gives Wyatt a somewhat not gentle love. Which usually results in Wyatt tipping over because Evan is at a phase where he likes to lay on, and push over Wyatt. Of course I'm trying to get a happy love picture but this might be as good as it gets. Poor Wyatt has no idea that this is supposed to be affection, and starts to cry.

Sad Huh? This was the result for the previously mentioned love. Maybe we'll have to bag the picture and try something else. I don't know how much more "loving" Wyatt will tolerate.

New Years... a little late

Better late than never, though. With children New Years Eve becomes oblivious. Russ and I had a quiet celebration at home as our children went to bed around 8 and we went to be around 10:30 because our kids don't know what it means to sleep in and were up bright and early New Years day at 6:30 am as usual. My family came down New Years day and it was great to have them.
They brought sparklers to celebrate and Evan had a blast, he still talks about setting things on fire.
Here is his sparkler.

Thanks so much Grandma for bring down such a fun toy. We love you and miss you so much.
