Loose Tooth

Bigger and bigger everyday. About a week after Evan started Kindergarten, he discovered his first loose tooth. The loose tooth is on his bottom front on the right hand side.
He was standing at the table after eating and kept picking at his tooth like there was something stuck in there. He kind of started to whine a little bit because he had something stuck in there and couldn't get it out. Russ tried to help him check it out and when he opened wide his adult tooth was growing in behind the baby tooth pushing it's way up and loosening his tooth.

One of the cutest things in this experience has been convincing him to wiggle the tooth to get it out. Finally he asked me if the tooth fairy would be mad if he pulled it out. ( he thought if he took it out the tooth fairy wouldn't come so he was scared to wiggle it. ) We quickly taught him more about the tooth fairy and since then he has been excited for it to fall out at the prospect of the tooth fairy coming to visit our house.

About a week later we were at the breakfast table and he pushed the tooth out with his tongue. He is really excited because now the tooth fairy gets to come to visit our house for the first time tonight.

Wyatt's 1st Day of Preschool

Wyatt is so excited to be 3 so he can go to preschool! This is his first year of school and he goes twice a week.

He was so excited about his Carz backpack.
Lookin sharp

I love this happy face.

His favorite crayon on his first day was green. Every time he goes back it changes though. Last time his favorite was blue.

Wyatt is in the orange star class. He goes to Blanding Elementary Preschool and his teacher is Mrs. Turk. One of his good friends (Grady) is in his class and he likes making new friends. He was also rearing and ready to go and too excited to give mom too many hugs and kisses because he wanted to play

His favorite thing to do is puzzles. He is really good at them and likes working on them till he can do them without help.

On his first day I asked him what his favorite part was and he said playing at recess, and reading books. He loves books! After walking out to the car I asked him more about his day and he let out a big sigh and said "Mom, school was just too long." As most of you know he is my little ball of energy and sitting still for 3 hours is going to be his biggest challenge.

First Day of Kindergarten

You can't stop growing up, now matter how hard you try. One of those great big milestones is: KINDERGARTEN! Evan's first day of kindergarten was August 18th, and he was really excited. Looking handsome as ever

Showing off his backpack

One cool thing about Blanding Elementary is that it is decorated with great big cement crayons. Evan has always called it the crayon school. Both Wyatt and Evan wanted to get their pictures in front of their favorite color of crayons.

Evan's favorite (at least that day) was green

Evan returning to Russ' alma mater

Evan with his teacher Miss Miksell. As you can see he is totally prepped and ready. I was hoping he'd miss me at least a little, but no such luck. He had a great first day. His favorite part was recess. His friends encouraged him to go on the monkey bars, which he did, and now has a new favorite at recess.

Sitting at his desk. He does know a few kids in his class, and since then has made lots of new friends. He likes playing in the kitchen and chasing after the gingerbread man. We are working a lot on reading this year. He loves school and learning new things. I am so proud of him and the young man he is growing up to be.

Slip N' Slide

We love the slip N slide at our house. This year they were a little more brave. The thing that is always a shocker is how cold the hose water is in comparison to the heated pool we have in town. Wyatt looking for a drink

Evan trying to avoid getting his face wet

Letting go and kicking back

The sun is too bright!

Lola's Birthday (Part 2)

A picture speaks a thousand times better than words; I'll let these pictures speak for themselves....

A Little Curiosity.....

As you can see she had a great time. It was so fun to watch. She is such a clean baby, that it took her a while to relax and get dirty; however once she got going there was no stopping her till the cake was totally demolished. Lola I love you, Happy Birthday Sweetheart!
