Evan and Makaeli took credit for making Ivy laugh the first time. It was so cute. Evan was playing games with her and she just started laughing and squealing all at once.

It is tradition that who ever makes her laugh provides the meal. Evan helped me make sloppy joes,
Makaeli brought potato salad, and we had the rest of the fun BBQ fixins.
Summer helped Ivy put salt on the plates; which according to Navajo tradition keeps the baby from growing up stingy.

We had a fun time as you can see, the kids played super heroes and the adults ate good food, we had a special treat of homemade ice cream too which is always a hit!

At the end of the night she was all tuckered out! Before everyone even left she zonked out in her chair. Ivy we love hearing you laugh and look forward to many more chuckles, giggles, and squeals as you grow up.
