Happy Home

In the back yard the kids figured out where the tap was and decided to have a little water fun. They used our door as canvas for their art.
I took pictures because when we saw it Russell said: "Now this is the sign of a Happy Home!" I've left the hand prints up to remind me of that.

Easter Sunday Dresses

For Easter I try to get the kids new church clothes. And the girls this year were just too cute.
 Peek A Boo!
Miss Ivy Paige, looking so cute! Look at the ankle rolls :)

Funny Girls. These girls love to laugh, and play together. I'm so glad, The best of friends!
 Going in for Kisses

Just us Girls! I told Russ this is about as matchy matchy as I get. But we all looked so beautiful!

Easter Morning

Easter weekend we colored some fun eggs. They looked beautiful and the kids did an excellent job.
This year I mostly sat back and let the boys color them because there getting older, and they'd just done it at Grandma's house a week ago.
Ivy looking on, wondering what's going on?
Easter morning we woke the kids up and let Lola find her basket first.
She walked past it about 3 times before the boys couldn't take it anymore and showed her what to do.
True to Lola form she grabbed the chocolate first, it was about all she was interested in...
... other than the grass. We had grass over our house for days!
The boys spent a lot of time showing her what to do. They were very patient though as they taught her how egg hunting works.

The boys tried to let her do it on her own but after about 20 minutes they couldn't wait any longer to start their hunt!
 Happy Easter!
The boys waited so patiently for Lola then it was their turn. We could hardly keep them back for a picture.
 Ready, Set, Go!
Picking up the eggs. We just had a sprinkling system put in and it had made our lawn a little muddy and soft. The kids worked around it but Russ sank in the mud the minute he touched it!

 Trying to share the eggs..

In the end they both ended up with a lot of eggs and had a ton of fun.
 Opening Grandma's Easter package,
Thanks for the goodies Grandma!

Fun With Daddy

I went to Flagstaff for Zumba training, this weekend and Russ and Ivy got to come too.
Once we got to the room Russ was playing with Ivy who was just glad to be out of her seat!
As always they had the best of time. This girl loves to laugh!

Too Cool!

Evan loves sharing his shades with Ivy; and being as small as she is poor girl can't pull them off.
 Sisters!
Lola takes such good care of her little sister
My favorite thing is that she can't say Ivy so she calls her I-YA. The nickname is starting to stick.
Her favorite phrase as of late is Hi-Ya I-ya!

Big Girl Bed

About 18 months we try to get our kids out of their cribs and into a big kid bed. This year it is Lola's Turn!
Helping Mommy and Daddy take the side rail off her crib
Trying to take the screws out of the rest of the bed!
 Somebody got caught! Uh-Oh
 Practicing for her first night...
which is too much fun when the camera is around!
Time for bed! Brushing her teeth.
 Kisses night-night for Dad
 Only one Dad!
We put her in her bed and tucked her in with songs and she was still okay. Then she figured out she could get out of bed, and did so. When we tried to put her back she got a little upset!
 Singing to her baby
Finally ready to hit the sack! Out of all our kids so far Lola has made the easiest transition to a big kid bed. Lola you are growing up so fast, and growing into a wonderful, independent, beautiful little girl.
