Easter weekend we colored some fun eggs. They looked beautiful and the kids did an excellent job.
This year I mostly sat back and let the boys color them because there getting older, and they'd just done it at Grandma's house a week ago.
Ivy looking on, wondering what's going on?
Easter morning we woke the kids up and let Lola find her basket first.
She walked past it about 3 times before the boys couldn't take it anymore and showed her what to do.
True to Lola form she grabbed the chocolate first, it was about all she was interested in...
... other than the grass. We had grass over our house for days!
The boys spent a lot of time showing her what to do. They were very patient though as they taught her how egg hunting works.
The boys tried to let her do it on her own but after about 20 minutes they couldn't wait any longer to start their hunt!
Happy Easter!
The boys waited so patiently for Lola then it was their turn. We could hardly keep them back for a picture.
Ready, Set, Go!
Picking up the eggs. We just had a sprinkling system put in and it had made our lawn a little muddy and soft. The kids worked around it but Russ sank in the mud the minute he touched it!
Trying to share the eggs..
In the end they both ended up with a lot of eggs and had a ton of fun.
Opening Grandma's Easter package,
Thanks for the goodies Grandma!
