T-Ball part 2

 As the season progressed the kids got better and better; when they were focused. Trying to get ten 4-5 year olds together and "in sync" for the game is always a big challenge.

  Luckily they had great coaches who are just big kids themselves and they were able pull together the team huddle just in time!

 Wyatt kinda lost focus about 1/2 way through the season and was content to just play around which drove Russell crazy.

 Evan, as always, tried his best and wanted to do a good job.

 His team started getting a little aggressive about fielding the ball so his coaches started having them line up in a line and each kid took turns fielding the ball and throwing the first to avoid the dog pile on the ball.

 I think with all 4 year old boys there is bound to be at least one wrestling match.

 No matter his focus Wyatt is always a great hitter. He has a fairly level swing and hits hard!

 Running on the other hand is not his forte

 He likes to round home before heading to first every game....

 Evan is an good player and likes to do well so I think he is going to grow up to be a stellar athlete if he wants too.

 He runs really fast around the bases and has great form. It is fun to watch them grow from season to season.

The kids had so much fun this season, next season Evan will be in coach pitch and Wyatt will have another season of T-ball. They've grown in their skill and had a lot of fun doing so.

The Last Day of School

 The day has finally arrived! Wyatt is feeling a little sad not to be going to pre-school anymore. However he's way excited about the pool being open.

 On his last day they had a Safari, and went hunting in Africa. He had a great time. Thanks so much to his great teachers. He has learned a lot this year and is excited to be doing pre-school again next year.

On Evan's last day they had a game day. He was so excited to take his favorite game, Operation, to his class to play with his friends. He has loved kindergarten, and his teacher Miss Miksell. This year he has learned to read, write, and is doing basic math. He loves school and his friends. And is excited to go into the first grade next year.

Sprinkler Fun

 The kids wait, and wait for the sprinklers to come on in the evening; so they can beg to go out and play!

 Ivy doesn't know the sprinkler schedule yet and just plays with her toys cute as ever!

 Lola, on the other hand, loves the sprinklers. She is not afraid or timid when it comes to chasing down the water.

Mom's Day!

I love Mother's Day!

 Evan made me a coupon book and some special stories he wrote for me from school.

 Wyatt made me a cute apron at school with a picture of us and his handprints on it.

 On Saturday we went up to Dry Wash and had a cook out.

 Even though it was still early spring the kids were so tempted to get their feet in the water.

 Lola still doesn't let us do her hair, and hates to wear shoes; she looks so cute but is always chushy!

 Wyatt being brave enough to get a little wet, he was in for about 30 seconds before he said it was too cold and had to get out

 The boys got out on this raft, they thought it was anchored down, little did they know the shore was moving further away as they started to drift out into the middle of the lake. Luckily Russ and I were able to get them back with a stick!

 Ivy slept through  most of our adventure which was good because her allergies are so bad this year. Once she woke up her eyes goopied up and her nose started to run; poor girl.

 They did a good job of getting us a good fire going for hot dogs and marshmellows

This is probably my favorite picture of the day. She is so dirty and so chushy but I love it. She just loves to play and doesn't care what she looks like which is great when your 1.

 

I love being a Mom so much. I am so grateful for each of my children; and a loving husband who works so hard so I can stay at home and with our great children every day. I couldn't imagine a more crazy, wonderful, challenging, or rewarding job in this whole world. I am grateful to be part of a loving family, who at the end of the day: loves me with all their hearts!
