Lola's 1st Birthday

Here is the birthday girl. On the July 30th, Lola turned 1! I can't believe how big she is. She grows more and more everyday. To preface there are A LOT of pictures but you only turn 1 once, and we love to celebrate the milestones. Lola and her brothers. They love her so much and loved playing with her balloons all day while we waited for her party.

Lola has a cool new trick where she just kind of does these cute little shakes with her head and arms it always makes us laugh. That is what she was finishing doing in this picture.

We tried to keep the polk-a-dot theme throughout the food as well. We had polka-dot balled melon, I made pink polk-a-dot tiny cookies, she had mini pink poll-a-dot cupcakes for the guests, and I made her a pink polk-a-dot cake. We also had pink polk-a-dot lemonade too.

She loved present time. She had fun opening her gifts, but her brothers looked like hungry jackals while trying to patiently wait for her to get them opened.

She got a lot of clothes for her birthday and we asked Evan if he thought clothes were a good present and he said no. All he wanted was the toys.
